Short answer: Start with the reader's question and a small set of supported answers. Build the draft from those answers before expanding headings or keywords. Search optimisation is useful when it makes a helpful page easier to find and understand; it cannot replace the answer.

Contents — jump to a section

A concrete example

Plan an article answering 'What should I check before choosing an app builder?'. Its working outline covers the intended app, user access, running costs and taking data out. For each section, keep one supported statement, its source and a practical question the reader can ask.

This is a suggested exercise, not a recorded product test. It describes the result to aim for; it does not claim that every listed tool can complete every step.

Prepare these inputs

Create a claim sheet with statement, source URL, relevant passage, checked date and uncertainty. Add a one-sentence reader goal and a list of existing articles that might already answer it.

Build it in this order

  1. Draft the short answer using only the claim sheet, separating facts from suggested exercises.
  2. Add sections that resolve a remaining reader question, with an example where the decision is difficult.
  3. Check the draft against its sources, then write a title and description that accurately describe the page.

Check the result

  • A reader can answer the title's question without opening every source link.
  • Each changing product claim has a relevant source and its actual check date.
  • The page adds a distinct answer rather than repeating another article with different keywords.

If the result fails

If a source does not support a sentence, narrow or remove that sentence. If the outline produces the same generic advice in every section, reduce the scope to a question for which you can provide a concrete answer.

Time and cost to watch

Budget for reading sources, checking claims and maintaining the finished page. The number of generated words does not measure completed editorial work. Avoid creating more pages than the team can keep useful.

Tools worth comparing

The content and search tools below are candidates for research organisation, drafting and editing. Judge them by traceable sources and useful revision work. A tool's optimisation score is not proof of factual correctness or a guaranteed search position.
