This project turns your own local notes into five short stop cards for a self-guided walk. AI can shape the narrative, but it must not invent history, opening hours or access. The sample is fictional, and PickByTask did not walk or safety-test a route.
Canva currently offers Docs, presentations, print and mobile-friendly design formats alongside AI tools. Use it to lay out the five checked stop cards after every factual line has a source ID and route access is verified separately. Check the current plan before premium assets. Canva · Plans

Prepare five notes with sources
For each stop, record a name, exact public location, one observation you made, one sourced fact, source URL or document, source date and access note. Avoid private addresses and sensitive resident details. Allow 60–90 minutes for drafting and checking, excluding the real route inspection.

Use only the five numbered stop notes below.
Write one 80-word story card per stop and cite its source IDs.
Separate my observation from sourced history.
Do not invent dates, people, quotations, opening hours or accessibility.
Write NEEDS SOURCE or NEEDS ROUTE CHECK when support is missing.

Visit Canva ↗Build and check the walk
- Give every fact and source an ID.
- Draft one stop at a time and keep citations beside the claim.
- Remove any detail that cannot be traced to a supplied source.
- Walk or otherwise verify public access, crossings and closures separately.
- Order the cards only after access checks; include a short alternative route.
- Ask another reader to identify fact, observation and direction on every card.
Worked fictional sample
Stop S2 is a blue clock above a market gate. Note O2 says the writer observed chipped paint. Source H2, a dated municipal page, says the gate opened in 1968. The card may use both statements with labels. It cannot claim who designed the clock or that the market is open today without another source and a current access check.
The set passes when every factual claim carries a source ID, observations are marked as observations, and route instructions contain no unchecked shortcut. A reader should be able to skip any inaccessible stop without losing the rest of the story.
Recover when evidence or access fails
If AI joins two stops, process one note at a time. If a source conflicts, state the uncertainty or remove the claim. If Canva is unavailable, print numbered text cards or save a plain PDF. If the route is blocked, do not publish a workaround you have not checked; provide a safe omission.
Product and pricing pages were inspected on 5 October 2026. This is a planning exercise, not evidence of route safety, accessibility, historical accuracy beyond cited notes or visitor response.
