Lovable announced a Salesforce partnership on 15 September 2026. The key distinction for a team planning a CRM app is where it runs: publishing inside Salesforce currently covers read-only dashboards and views. Apps that write records back run on Lovable through the connector. Announcement

What changes for a sales team

The announcement also describes building from Slack and installing agents there. Treat those as parts of the same release, rather than separate product launches. For a first evaluation, choose one question such as “Which opportunities need a follow-up?” and list the fields the answer needs.

Check the connection before adding actions

The Salesforce connector documentation says connection access can be limited to yourself, selected people or the workspace. It also excludes Bulk API and Streaming API endpoints. Confirm which connection model your chosen route uses; do not assume every deployment shares the same permissions.

A useful acceptance check is to compare what two differently permissioned test accounts can see. Add record changes only after the read-only result and access boundaries are correct. This is an editorial test suggestion, not a completed integration test.

What this announcement does not settle

PickByTask has not tested the integration or verified your account's entitlements. Ask the administrator to confirm the applicable plan and connector setup before using live CRM data. Our app-builder evaluation guide helps define the wider acceptance test.
